Hello everyone! I hope you have all enjoyed the holidays and the new year celebrations. I wanted to make a quick update post to let you know my current plans with this website. Pumpkins are one of the most iconic squashes of fall. We have all sorts of fun activities planned that will help us explore the pumpkin and everything about it. You are going to need fresh pumpkins for many of the activities planned this week. Some activities require the use of pumpkin seeds, so be sure to keep a close eye on little ones as pumpkin seeds can pose a choking hazard. With fall quickly approaching, trees are beginning to change colors and will soon drop their leaves. Trees are very beautiful this time of year which makes it the perfect time to really focus and learn about trees. While we will focus on trees in the fall and the changing colors of the leaves, we will talk about how a tree changes throughout the seasons, as well as talk about trees that don’t change colors, like evergreens. I love it when the seasons change. As much as I enjoyed the summer, I am ready for a change in weather. In this theme we will learn about fall/autumn. There is so much to learn about during fall that I have broken it up into several different themes throughout the month.
