Valentine’s Theme

Valentine’s day is coming up and we have a great group of Valentine themed activities set up! Lots of number practice this week along with lots of heart themed activities! Hope you all have a Happy Valentine’s Day! NOTE: Some of the activity links go straight to a pin on Pinterest instead of a blog page. Read the description of the pin for the activity instructions. Materials List

Craft Supplies:

Colored Construction Paper
Markers
Masking Tape
Washable paint
Easel paper roll
Pony Beads
Yarn /String (I will be using Pipe cleaners)
Food Tray (or cookie sheet with edges)
Large Popsicle Sticks
Pipe cleaners
Tacky Glue
Glossy Mod Podge (Optional)
Foam hearts

Around the House:

Scissors
Mason Jars/Glasses
Straws (optional)
White coffee filters
Paper Towels
liquid eye droppers
Alka Seltzer tablets
Sparkling water (tap water works too)
Jars or Vases
Clothespins
Heart shaped cookie cutters (instead of clothespins and foam hearts)

Toys/Other:

Conversation Hearts (or other small valentine themed object)
Heart cut-outs (from store or made with construction paper)
